How She Dares is a documentary that follows the extraordinary path of Zoonie Nguyen, a Vietnamese-Canadian who went from being a war refugee to a corporate powerhouse and finally embarked on an unplanned, transformative journey to connect with and amplify the voices of female entrepreneurs around the world.
Zoonie’s story is one of profound resilience. As a young girl, she fled Vietnam during the war and started anew in Montreal, Canada.
After years of professional success, a personal crisis prompted her to redefine what success truly meant.
This journey led her to Vietnam, where she met and documented the stories of inspiring women entrepreneurs who, like her, navigated immense challenges to carve out their spaces in the business world.
Stepping into spaces where they can take control of their work and ultimately–their lives. These women embody resilience and determination, and their stories of triumph and struggle are too often left untold.
That’s why How She Dares was created—to give voice to these remarkable women, shining a light on the challenges they face and the strength they embody. It’s not just a documentary; it’s a movement to uplift, connect, and inspire women entrepreneurs around the world.
